Valencia sporting director Francisco Rufete is hopeful that Juan Bernat signs a new long-term contract with the Spanish outfit.
The left-back has been one of La Liga's standout performers this season, with his displays reportedly drawing a host of European interest.
Spain boss Vicente del Bosque has also recently praised the 21-year-old, who came through the youth system at the Mestalla.
"We want him here for a long time, he's a player from our house and he's very important for us, we want him to stay her for a long time but we also know that there are a lot of clubs looking at him because he's performing a very high level," Rufete told CalcioNapoli24.it.
Barcelona are believed to be monitoring developments, with Bernat's current deal due to expire at the end of next season.
