Striker Luis Suarez has suggested that he could be close to signing a new contract with Barcelona.
Suarez has netted a remarkable 95 goals from 112 appearances since leaving Liverpool to move to Camp Nou in 2014 but he was recently linked with a big-money transfer to Manchester United.
However, it appears that the Uruguayan is keen to commit his future to the Catalan giants until at least 2021.
The 29-year-old told reporters: "Negotiations are moving along nicely in the right direction. Both parties want this deal to go through."
Teammate Neymar recently extended his stay at the club, while Lionel Messi could follow suit later in the season.
