Danny Wilson hails Barnsley display

Barnsley boss Danny Wilson hails his players for frustrating Oldham during their 1-0 win in League One.

Barnsley boss Danny Wilson has praised his side for their disciplined performance during Tuesday's win over Oldham Athletic.

The Tykes made it two consecutive victories in League One last night thanks to a 1-0 triumph at Oakwell.

Wilson believes that his players excelled in frustrating Oldham and forcing the visitors out of their comfort zone.

"They're a good side with some good players in there and they play a certain way, but I think we frustrated them a great deal," he is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News.

"They like to play in the middle of the park and we didn't allow them to do that. We forced them wide and we're strong in those areas."

Barnsley continue their League One campaign on Saturday when they travel to promotion hopefuls Swindon Town.
