Preview: Barnsley vs. Bolton Wanderers

Sports Mole looks ahead to the Boxing Day encounter between Barnsley and Bolton in the Championship.

Barnsley could get themselves off the bottom of the Championship table on Boxing Day with a win against Bolton Wanderers at Oakwell.

The Tykes head into the match just one point behind Sheffield Wednesday and Yeovil Town in the relegation zone after picking up two draws in their last two outings.

Meanwhile, Bolton can edge closer to the top half of the standings if they pick up a fourth away victory of the season.

Marcus Tudgay and Jacob Mellis are both ruled out for the hosts through suspension, but Chris O'Grady and Paddy McCourt are both expected to recover from calf and hamstring injuries respectively.

Bolton have now fresh injury concerns ahead of the match.
