James Rodriguez's late free kick has given Monaco a 1-0 lead going into half time of their Ligue 1 match against Bastia this evening.
Djibril Cisse and Yannick Cahuzac looked dangerous for the hosts early on, with Cisse forcing a good block with an effort just two minutes into the match.
Joao Moutinho and Emmanuel Riviere were then guilty of missing good chances for the visitors as they cranked up the pressure.
Rodriguez soon put Monaco in front just before half time with a free kick that was placed right into the bottom corner.
