BATE Borisov and Bayer Leverkusen remain in contention to qualify for the final 16 of the Champions League after playing out at 1-1 draw in Group E.
The home side could have not asked for a better start as Mikhail Gordeichuk scored in the first 80 seconds of the game - the fastest goal of the competition so far - by making the most of some poor goalkeeping from Bernd Leno.

The Bayer shot-stopper should have easily held Gordeichuk's effort as it was hit directly at him, but the ball somehow leaked through his legs and into the back of the net.
The German side had plenty of possession, but they were unable to make the most of their time on the ball in the final third as BATE were happy to sit back at times.
After the break, Leverkusen showed attacking intent as Karim Bellarabi was involved numerous times, with one particular shot - a half-volley - being collected by the goalkeeper.

Bellarabi came close to equalising 10 minutes into the second half as he soared past his markers to unleash a shot at goal, but the effort was deflected just past the post.
Leverkusen eventually got back on level terms after a long spell of possession ended with Christoph Kramer launching the ball into the box for Admir Mehmedi, whose side-foot cross for Javier Hernandez found the bottom corner.
Hernandez showed signs of frustration when he was struck on the side of the head off the ball, but the referee did not see the incident.
Both sides searched for the winner, but it was not to be as the teams shared a point.
If Roma defeat Barcelona later this evening, then BATE will be knocked out.
