A Sidney Sam brace moved Bayer Leverkusen into the top half of the Bundesliga table with a comfortable home victory over Greuther Furth.
The 24-year-old striker opened the scoring after 50 minutes thanks to an incisive pass from Andre Schurrle.
Sam doubled his tally just 10 minutes later with a simple finish from Gonzalo Castro.
Furth were unable to find a way back into the game and the defeat condemns the promoted side to place in the relegation zone.
