Bayer Leverkusen: 'No Tottenham Hotspur deal for Son Heung-min

Bayer Leverkusen chief Michael Schade stresses that there is no deal in place for reported Spurs target Son Heung-min to leave the BayArena as of yet.

Bayer Leverkusen have insisted that there is no deal in place for Son Heung-min to join a Premier League club, amid speculation linking him with Tottenham Hotspur.

Speculation is rife that the South-Korean attacker jetted to London on Wednesday to undergo a medical ahead of a £22m move to White Hart Lane.

Teammate Hakan Calhanoglu claimed that the 23-year-old has isolated himself from the rest of the team as his future continues to look uncertain.

However, club CEO Michael Schade says that negotiations with an unnamed English club are ongoing and stressed that nothing will happen until their terms are met.

"Nothing has happened up to now," he told reporters. "There is a contact with England, and we are in discussions, but there hasn't been any final negotiation.

"There is no transfer, and there is also no signature. The next days will show, but we will only let Son Heung-min go when we are satisfied with the terms."

The summer transfer window shuts on September 1.
