Bayern Munich winger Arjen Robben believes that coach Jupp Heynckes should not rotate his players too much.
Heynckes has not fielded the same starting lineup in any of the Bavarians' six competitive games so far this season and has seen his side win all of them.
"It is important to maintain your rhythm, and consistency within the team is important," Robben is quoted as saying by Kicker.
However, Heynckes has dismissed the Dutchman's suggestion of maintaining a consistent lineup.
"I won't explain to my players why I make changes," he said. "They just have to accept it.
"It would be careless to not rotate players. Including the national games, we've got 24, 25 matches coming up before Christmas.
"I need to make changes so we still have energy in the spring."
Bayern are away at Schalke in the Bundesliga on Saturday.
