Bastian Schweinsteiger aims to silence crowd

Bastian Schweinsteiger believes that Bayern Munich should aim to silence the Bernabeu crowd tomorrow night.

Bastian Schweinsteiger believes that it is imperative for Bayern Munich to silence the Bernabeu crowd if they are to progress past Real Madrid in the Champions League semi-final tomorrow night.

The German club head to Madrid looking to a defend a 2-1 advantage that they achieved last week at the Allianz Arena.

Taking into account his side's winning margin, Schweinsteiger is expecting Madrid to make a fast start on their home turf.

"We must stop them," the German international told reporters. "Especially in the first 20 minutes, when the crowd will make an imposing atmosphere.

"Such games are always the highlight of a season for me."

Schweinsteiger is expected to start in the Bayern midfield against Real after he recovered from a knee injury.
