Bayern Munich have reportedly been left unhappy with the form of winger Sadio Mane.
On Friday, the Bundesliga giants confirmed reports that they had parted company with head coach Julian Nagelsmann, replacing him with former Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel.
Bayern officials stated that they made the decision due to the lack of consistency in the Bundesliga since the resumption of action in January.
For the first five weeks after the restart, Mane was not present on the pitch, a consequence of the lower leg injury that he sustained before the World Cup.
Upon his return, the 30-year-old was naturally eased back into action in order to try to get back up to top speed for the latter stages of the campaign.

However, according to Sport1, the Senegal international has not impressed influential figures behind the scenes since his return on February 26.
In his five outings since that date, Mane has featured for a total of 177 minutes, supplying an assist in the 5-3 triumph over Augsburg.
Nevertheless, the criticism allegedly stems from his struggles when it comes to one-on-one duels, something which is usually one of his strengths.
As well as alleging that there is concern over his fitness, the report says that the drop off in quality is said to have been noticeable in training.

Mane was also withdrawn at half time in the defeat to Bayer Leverkusen before the international break, a result which ultimately cost Nagelsmann his job.
Although Bayern will hope that Tuchel can help Mane rediscover his best form, the former Liverpool winger can claim to have enjoyed a solid first season at the Allianz Arena.
As many as nine goals and five assists have come from his 20 starts and five substitute outings in the Bundesliga and Champions League.
That said, Mane has not scored for Bayern since October 29, a period spanning eight matches either side of the World Cup break.
