Arjen Robben believes that Bayern Munich will get even stronger under Pep Guardiola.

Bayern Munich winger Arjen Robben has insisted that the team will improve under the leadership of new coach Pep Guardiola.

The Spaniard took over Bayern this summer from previous coach Jupp Heynckes and, despite having won the treble last year, Robben said that Guardiola will improve the club's performances.

"Guardiola has made a good impression on me. A few things will change as he has his own ideas and philosophy," he told Kicker. "That's only normal and it will make us even stronger.

"I believe it's a good thing that changes are happening. Guardiola keeps things fresh. If he followed the exact same path we were on before, complacency could kick in. People start to think that everything went well last season, so it will be alright to continue on the same path.

"Guardiola makes sure that we remain alert and on our toes. We keep learning and that's always a good thing."

Bayern won the Champions League, Bundesliga and DFB-Pokal last season.
