Thomas Muller aims for record title

Thomas Muller says that Bayern Munich are confident of retaining their Bundesliga title for a record fourth consecutive season.

Thomas Muller has said that he wants to help Bayern Munich become the first team to ever win the Bundesliga for four successive years.

The Bavarians won the title for the third year in a row last season to further enhance their reputation as Germany's best team, but no club has ever achieved four consecutive Championship winning seasons.

"One particular goal comes to mind. No team has ever won the Bundesliga title four times in a row. It's never happened before," Muller is quoted as saying by Goal.com

"There are many records which we have broken or missed out on over the last few years and I like this particular one very much. It would be great and that's what we'll work for."

Bayern have won the title 25 times in their history.
