Thomas Tuchel 'favourite to become new Bayern Munich boss'

Former Borussia Dortmund boss and rumoured Everton target Thomas Tuchel is reportedly favourite to take the Bayern Munich job.

Former Borussia Dortmund manager Thomas Tuchel has reportedly emerged as a favourite for the permanent Bayern Munich job.

The Bundesliga giants currently have Jupp Heynckes in charge for a fourth time, but only until the end of the season when the club aim to appoint a full-time successor to Carlo Ancelotti.

Tuchel, who has been out of work since leaving Dortmund in the summer, is reportedly a potential target for the Everton vacancy as the Premier League club are searching for a new leader after deciding to sack Ronald Koeman 16 months into his term.

However, according to Bild, Tuchel, who spent two years in charge of Dortmund, is favourite to land the role at the Allianz Arena.

The 44-year-old guided the club to DFB-Pokal success last season.
