Mats Hummels has put the finishing touches on the transfer that has taken him from Borussia Dortmund to Bayern Munich.
The Bavarians confirmed earlier this weekend that they had reached an agreement with their rivals to sign the 27-year-old.
Today, the centre-back was in Munich to put pen to paper on a five-year contract.
"It was obviously very tough for me to leave Dortmund, just like it was tough back in 2008, when I went the other way," he told the club's official website.
"Now I'm just looking forward to everything that awaits me at Bayern. I'm very excited."
Bayern have opted against revealing the fee that they have paid to secure Hummels's services.
