Borussia Dortmund striker Robert Lewandowski has admitted that wants to join his "dream club" this summer.

The Polish international has been heavily linked with a transfer to German champions Bayern Munich in recent weeks.

Despite not mentioning Bayern by name, the 24-year-old has confirmed that he is seeking a move before the start of next season.

"I expect everything to be cleared up now so that I will be allowed to move to my dream club this summer," Lewandowski told Sport Bild. "That would be the best for everybody involved.

"Dortmund are a fantastic club whom I will always admire. It's just now I want a new challenge for my future."

Lewandowski scored 34 goals in all competitions last season as Dortmund ended as runners-up to Bayern in both the Bundesliga and Champions League.
