Real Betis director Jose Antonio Bosch has hinted that the Spanish outfit will have money to spend in the January transfer window.
The La Liga outfit challenged for fourth position for a large part of last season, but currently sit bottom of the table following a poor start to the season.
"Up until January 1, we are playing with the squad that we have and things could happen that we have not made provisions for," Bosch told AS. "What today is a problem may seem secondary in a few weeks.
"Right now we have to reverse the situation with what we have. Yes, we could spend more now than we did in the summer. But whether it is necessary to sign or not will be determined by the technical staff.
"The situation? How can we not be concerned about being the bottom club? That is obvious. And we do not like it, too. What I think is that there is still time to change the situation and so we do not panic, because they have the means, and they should and will."
Betis return to league action against Sevilla this weekend.
