Report: Real Betis to move for Javier Manquillo

A report claims that Real Betis want to sign Atletico Madrid right-back Javier Manquillo on loan in January.

Real Betis are reportedly interested in signing Atletico Madrid right-back Javier Manquillo on loan in the January transfer window.

The 19-year-old is highly rated at the Vicente Calderon, but has made just one league appearance for the capital outfit this season.

While coach Diego Simeone does not want to lose his services permanently, according to Estadio Deportivo, a loan move with Betis has been discussed.

Manquillo, who is currently with the Under-21 Spain squad, is believed to have also attracted the interest of Barcelona, who reportedly hold first option.
