Lee Clark pleased with Kevin Fahey return

Birmingham City boss Lee Clark says that Keith Fahey will play a big role for the club in the remaining months of the season.

Birmingham City boss Lee Clark has admitted his delight at having Keith Fahey available for selection in the remaining months of the season.

Fahey recently returned to the Blues squad following compassionate leave, with Clark praising his level of performance in the 1-0 win over Middlesbrough last time out.

Clark told the Birmingham Mail: "Considering he has not played competitively for so long and to perform like he did, it was outstanding.

"It's definitely a big plus to have Keith back in the group. He was a very important player for this club last season and we're just happy that he's available again and involved."

Birmingham currently sit 12th in the Championship table.
