Birmingham City have reportedly identified Anorthosis Famagusta midfielder Shehu Abdullahi as a possible transfer target.
The West Midlands outfit currently sit bottom of the Championship standings, and manager Steve Cotterill is under pressure to improve his squad in January.
According to the Daily Mail, the Blues are interested in Abdullahi, who only has six months remaining on his contract at the Cypriot club.
The 24-year-old - who has won 23 caps for Nigeria - is allegedly available for a cut-price fee of £500,000 during the January window.
German club Freiburg and Turkish side Trabzonspor have also been credited with interest in Abdullahi.
