Steve Kean says that Blackburn are disappointed with their Carling Cup quarter-final exit at the hands of Cardiff tonight.

Blackburn Rovers manager Steve Kean has said that he is disappointed by his side's Carling Cup quarter-final exit at the hands of Cardiff tonight.

Goals in each half from Kenny Miller and Anthony Gerrard earned the Bluebirds a 2-0 victory and heaped more pressure on the under-fire Rovers boss.

"We're disappointed. We've got a big game in Wales at the weekend against Swansea so we made a few changes," said Kean.

"We thought that team would be enough but full credit to Cardiff."

The Scott did admit that he may not have made so many changes had his side been performing better in the Premier League.

"Possibly if we'd been a bit higher up the table we might have made less changes."

Blackburn currently sit bottom of the Premier League with just seven points from thirteen games.
