Team News: Blackburn Rovers unchanged against Rotherham United

Paul Lambert names an unchanged Blackburn Rovers side for the meeting with Rotherham United at Ewood Park.

Paul Lambert has named an unchanged Blackburn Rovers side for the meeting with Rotherham United at Ewood Park.

Unbeaten since arriving at the club, Lambert chooses to stick with the same 11 players that secured a 2-0 win over Bristol City last weekend as Jordan Rhodes leads the line with support from Tom Lawrence.

Danny Guthrie and Lee Williamson are among the players to be named on the bench, but Ben Marshall does start for the hosts.

Rotherham boss Neil Redfearn makes two changes in response to last weekend's 2-1 loss to Wolverhampton Wanderers, with Joe Mattock coming into the defence as a replacement for Harry Toffolo.

Danny Ward drops out of the squad due to injury as Luke Hyam earns a recall for the visitors.

Blackburn Rovers: Steele, Henley, Duffy, Hanley, Olsson, Marshall, Evans, Akpan, Conway, Lawrence, Rhodes
Subs: Eastwood, Spurr, Kilgallon, Brown, Williamson, Taylor, Guthrie

Rotherham United: Camp; Buxton, Broadfoot, Collins, Mattock; Frecklington (C), Smallwood, Hyam; G. Ward, Clarke-Harris, Newell
Subs: Collin, Thorpe, Toffolo, Green, Barker, Derbyshire, Yates
