Blackburn Rovers are closing in on a deal for Huddersfield Town striker Jordan Rhodes, according to reports.
The Daily Mail understands that Rhodes has been given permission to talk to Rovers after the two clubs agreed a fee in the region of £6m.
Signing Rhodes would represent a coup for Blackburn manager Steve Kean, who has faced stiff competition from Fulham for the highly-rated hitman.
Rhodes scored 40 goals last season to help Huddersfield clinch promotion from League One.
