Championship side Blackburn Rovers have secured the loan signing of Doneil Henry from West Ham United.

The Canadian international, 21, joins Rovers on a month-long deal until April 6.

Henry, who is yet to make his senior debut for the Hammers, told their website: "I think it's very important for me that I stay sharp and get back in the routine of playing regularly. Hopefully I can play a lot for Blackburn and do well for them."

He will wear the number 23 shirt for Rovers and is eligible to feature in tonight's match against Sheffield Wednesday.
