Doneil Henry has said that he will have no problem adjusting to the Premier League after signing for West Ham United.
The 21-year-old defender joins the Hammers from Cypriot side Apollon Limassol for an undisclosed fee.
"It feels good to be given the opportunity to come and train and see what it's like to be part of a Premier League team and I just want to get started and get into the team real soon," Henry told whufc.com.
"I love a tackle and I just want to defend hard. I take pride in my clean sheets with the back line and with the keeper, so if we can just do that, it's job completed.
"The standard here is really good. I definitely feel I can compete so I just need to adapt to what they want to do here and I don't think I'll have a problem."
Henry has 14 caps for Canada.
