Simon Grayson tipped to become Blackpool boss

Recently sacked Huddersfield Town boss Simon Grayson is reportedly odds-on favourite to become the new Blackpool manager.

Simon Grayson has reportedly emerged as the favourite to become the new manager of Blackpool just hours after being dismissed from his job at Huddersfield Town.

The Championship side announced this afternoon that they have parted company with the former Leeds United boss due to fears of dropping into League One by the end of the season.

Grayson's odds at the bookmakers of becoming Blackpool boss fell from 10/1 to odds-on favourite within 20 minutes of his sacking, according to the Blackpool Gazette.

The managerial position is vacant following Michael Appleton's move to Blackburn Rovers.
