Tony McMahon has expressed his relief at being able to leave Championship strugglers Blackpool and join League One playoff hopefuls Bradford City.
The 29-year-old joined Blackpool in January 2014 and has made a total of 51 appearances since then.
He was appointed Blackpool's captain for this season, but was unable to help them get out of the bottom three before recently joining Bradford on loan.
"It's been difficult right from the start of the season," he told the Blackpool Gazette.
"Obviously I was the captain, so there was more responsibility on my shoulders. It's not been nice with what's happened – losing a lot of games and being at the bottom of the table.
"It's also been hard for my two kids and my wife, going home every Saturday with a face a mile long because we've lost again."
McMahon made his Bantams debut from the bench in Saturday's 2-0 win over Oldham Athletic.
