Former Italy boss Cesare Prandelli refuses to comment on Bologna link

Cesare Prandelli refuses to comment on speculation linking him with the head coach position at struggling Serie A side Bologna.

Former Italy boss Cesare Prandelli has refused to comment on speculation linking him with the head coach position at struggling Serie A side Bologna.

The Rossoblu are currently bottom of Italy's top flight, with the future of head coach Delio Rossi in doubt after just one win in the club's opening eight games of the season.

While Prandelli is keen to get back to management with a club rather than international side, he is refusing to comment on current issues at Bologna.

"I want to coach again, but I'm not hugely concerned at the current time and I am considering many different options," Prandelli told Sky Sports News. "I don't think that I will return to coach another national side, however in football one can never say never.

"I would prefer not to comment on Bologna, I do not want to interfere with the work of the coaches and the club in general."

Prandelli has been out of management since being sacked by Turkish side Galatasaray in November 2014.
