Bolton boss Owen Coyle believes that his side do not deserve to be relegated from the Premier League.

Bolton Wanderers manager Owen Coyle has admitted that he is "aggrieved" by his side's relegation from the Premier League this afternoon.

Despite Queens Park Rangers' dramatic defeat at Manchester City, a 2-2 draw for the Trotters at Stoke City was not enough to secure their survival in the top flight.

"I think when all is said and done we feel aggrieved with what happened today," Coyle told BBC Sport. "The decisions have been difficult today.

"I felt we did enough to win today, but we need to bounce back now. Of course we are disappointed and hurt. The supporters were great today and I really feel for them.

"We'll regroup and pick ourselves up and see in the next few days what we need to do to move forward."

Bolton have been in the Premier League since 2001.
