Christian Benteke returns to the Aston Villa lineup ahead of Darren Bent for the trip to Bradford City.

Darren Bent has missed out on a place in the Aston Villa starting lineup for this evening's League Cup semi-final against Bradford City.

The England's international's place has gone to Christian Benteke, who will be supported by Gabriel Agbonlahor.

However, having spent the majority of the season on the bench, veteran goalkeeper Shay Given will start following his performance against Ipswich Town in the FA Cup on Saturday.

Hosting Bradford have recalled former West Ham United youngster Zavon Hines to their lineup, as well as defender Carl McHugh.

Bradford: Duke; Darby, McArdle, McHugh, Good; Hines, Jones, Doyle, Atkinson; Wells, Hanson

Villa: Given; Lowton, Clark, Baker, Bennett; Bannan, Delph; Weimann, N'Zogbia, Agbonlahor; Benteke
