Dunga names first Brazil squad

Brazil boss Dunga names his first squad as manager of the Selecao.

Brazil boss Dunga has named his first squad as national team manager ahead of next month's international friendlies against Colombia and Ecuador.

The Selecao were beaten 7-1 by Germany in the semi-finals of the World Cup this summer, a result that cost Luis Felipe Scolari his job.

Scolari's squad selection for the tournament was much criticised and Dunga has made wholesale changes to the party.

There are spots in the squad for Liverpool midfielder Philippe Coutinho, in addition to Atletico Madrid centre-back Miranda and Chelsea's new left-back Filipe Luis.

Marcelo, Dani Alves and Paulinho have all been dropped, but the likes of David Luiz, Luiz Gustavo, Fernandinho, Ramires and Hulk remain in the squad.

Full squad

Goalkeepers: Jefferson, Rafael Cabral

Defenders: David Luiz, Marquinhos, Gil, Miranda, Maicon, Filipe Luis, Alex Sandro, Danilo

Midfielders: Luiz Gustavo, Elias, Fernandinho, Ramires, Everton Ribeiro, Oscar, Hulk, Ricardo Goulart, Willian

Forwards: Neymar, Coutinho, Diego Tardelli
