Martin Taylor extends Brentford loan spell

Sheffield Wednesday defender Martin Taylor extends his loan spell with Brentford for another month.

Sheffield Wednesday defender Martin Taylor has had his loan spell with Brentford extended for another month.

The 33-year-old's initial loan deal with the club came to an end at the weekend, but the experienced defender has now signed a new contract until November.

Taylor, who has scored twice in four games for Brentford this season, will now be available for Tuesday night's Johnstone Paint Trophy clash against Peterborough United.

The former Birmingham City defender started his professional career with Blackburn Rovers and has also played for Watford.
