Team News: Marlon Pack keeps Bristol City starting place

Bristol City midfielder Marlon Pack starts against Bradford City, with Korey Smith left out for the clash at Ashton Gate.

Bristol City manager Steve Cotterill has opted to keep faith with Marlon Pack in midfield for the visit of Bradford City to Ashton Gate.

Pack's inclusion means that the League One pace-setters are without Korey Smith, who is recovering from a hamstring problem.

Despite scoring in the 3-1 victory at Coventry City on Saturday, Scott Wagstaff is again named among the substitutes along with Jay Emmanuel-Thomas.

Bradford welcome back Gary Liddle from a one-game ban, but captain Stephen Darby is sidelined through suspension.

Jon Stead, who recently joined the Bantams on loan, makes his first start in attack, with Billy Clarke likely to line up just behind the former Bristol City forward.

Should the Robins avoid defeat against Bradford, City would extend their unbeaten league run to 14 games, breaking a 60-year-old club record.
