Report: David Moyes holds talks with Danny Ings regarding summer move

David Moyes reportedly holds talks with Burnley striker Danny Ings about possibly joining Real Sociedad in the summer.

Real Sociedad manager David Moyes has reportedly contacted Burnley striker Danny Ings regarding a potential move to La Liga in the summer.

The 22-year-old was linked with the Spanish club in the January transfer window, and Moyes has expressed his admiration for the striker.

Ings, who comes to the end of his Burnley contract in the summer, was also heavily linked to Liverpool, but the England Under-21 international opted to stay at Turf Moor.

According to Spanish newspaper Diario Vasco, Moyes, who was sacked by Manchester United last April, has spoken to Ings about joining him at Sociedad when the season comes to a close.

The striker has been a Burnley player since 2011.
