League One and League Two roundup: Swindon Town thrash Tranmere Rovers

Sports Mole rounds up all the action from Friday evening's games in League One and League Two.

Swindon Town thrashed League One leaders Tranmere Rovers to move into the playoff places this evening.

Paolo Di Canio's men took a commanding 4-0 lead at the break.

Andy Williams could have had a hat-trick at the County Ground and scored Swindon's sixth with a penalty in the second half, but Owain Fon Williams made the save.

Bury secured a point against Shrewsbury Town with a 90th-minute equaliser from Steven Schumacher.

The home side had to come from behind twice to seal the draw, which leaves them in the relegation zone.

An Ashley Grimes brace led Rochdale to a comfortable win over Cheltenham Town.

Bobby Grant and Dele Adebola also netted for the home side to help the side climb to ninth in the League Two table.

Southend United closed the gap to the top three with victory over Chesterfield.

Ryan Cresswell put the Shrimpers ahead before Gavin Tomlin added to more in an easy win for the home side.

Barnet climbed out of the relegation zone thanks to a hat-trick from Ricky Holmes.

Burton Albion took the lead through an early Billy Kee penalty, but Holmes drew Barnet level before half time before adding two more in the second half.

Results in full: Bury 2-2 Shrewsbury Town, Swindon 5-0 Tranmere Rovers, Barnet 3-2 Burton Albion, Rochdale 4-1 Cheltenham, Southend 3-0 Chesterfield
