Lille survived a penalty shootout with Caen in the Coupe de France this evening following a 3-3 draw in normal time.
The home side fought back from two goals down to take a 3-2 lead before a stoppage-time own goal took the game to extra time and eventually penalties.
Bengali-Fode Koita scored twice in the first period to give the visitors a comfortable lead against Rene Girard's side before Ronny Rodelin fired one back just after the half-hour mark as LOSC went in a goal down at the interval.
The Ligue 1 side thought that they had completed the turnaround late on when Jonathan Delaplace's 77th-minute goal was followed up by Nolan Roux's winner five minutes later.
However, there was still more late drama, and Rodelin levelled things up inadvertently when he put through his own net deep into stoppage time.
The visitors held on through extra time, but were eventually eliminated after Lille edged a tense shootout 6-5.
