Cardiff City boss Malky Mackay was buoyant after his side secured their playoff spot at Selhurst Park this afternoon.
Cardiff came back from 1-0 down at half time to secure a 2-1 win over Crystal Palace on the final day of the Championship season.
The Bluebirds have confirmed a place in the playoffs after finishing in sixth place. Mackay's side will now face West Ham over two legs in the playoff semi-final.
"We're delighted," Mackay said after the game.
"Our fans came out in numbers today and this makes for a fitting tribute to them. It's fantastic that we've managed to get there, it's been a long season and the group of players that we have at Cardiff City have done us proud.
"We face my old club West Ham next over two legs in the playoffs. We certainly aren't daunted, not at all."
Mackay took over as manager of Cardiff in 2011.
