Cardiff City have reportedly indicated that they want to agree a new contract with Neil Warnock.
The Bluebirds have ended the last three campaigns outside of the playoffs in the Championship table, but Warnock has guided the club into contention for automatic promotion to the Premier League.
Cardiff sit four points clear of third-placed Aston Villa and just six adrift of leaders Wolverhampton Wanderers, and according to BBC Sport, Warnock is expected to pen fresh terms at the Welsh outfit.
Warnock's current deal expires at the end of the season, but the 69-year-old allegedly held talks with chairman Mehmet Dalman over the weekend.
In 16 months at the club, Warnock has won 37 and drawn 17 of his 75 matches in charge.
