Cardiff City host the improving Bristol City in the Championship on Saturday.

Championship leaders Cardiff City host the improving Bristol City on Saturday with both teams needing the points for very different reasons.

Cardiff were held last weekend by Huddersfield Town and will be looking to bounce back at home against relegation-threatened Bristol.

The visitors won their third game in four matches with a 2-0 win over Nottingham Forest and a win could see them go level on points with Wolverhampton Wanderers in 21st.

There are unlikely to be many changes from either manager and in particular Sean O'Driscoll will not want to disrupt a winning team.

Recent form

Cardiff: WLDWWD

Bristol: LLWWLW

Possible starting lineups

Cardiff: Marshall; McNaughton, Hudson, Connolly, Taylor; Bellamy, Whittingham, Gunnarsson, Conway; Helguson, Smith

Bristol: Heaton; Moloney, Fontaine, Nyatanga, Cunningham; Anderson, Elliott, Kelly, Pearson; Davies, Stead

Sports Mole says: 2-0
