Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is reportedly on the brink of being sacked by Cardiff City following a poor start to the Championship season.
The former Manchester United player has overseen the Welsh side go on a four-game winless run, which has placed them 17th in the league table after seven matches.
According to the Daily Star, Cardiff owner Vincent Tan told some board members that Solskjaer's time as manager would come to an end if his side failed to get a result against Middlesbrough on Tuesday night.
As it turns out, the Bluebirds, who were relegated from the Premier League last season, suffered a 1-0 defeat at the Cardiff City Stadium against Boro.
Reports have claimed that Solskjaer will hold talks with Tan in the next few days.
