Eduardo Berizzo content with point at Eibar

Celta Vigo boss Eduardo Berizzo says that he was pleased with his team's response to falling 1-0 behind at Eibar on Saturday as Iago Aspas secured a late point.

Celta Vigo boss Eduardo Berizzo has revealed his delight after the Galicians came from behind to secure a point against Eibar on Saturday.

Celta fell behind in the third minute of the La Liga clash at the Ipurua, but an Iago Aspas effort 15 minutes from time secured a share of the spoils.

Berizzo's team are still unbeaten in Spain's top flight this season, but victory would have seen them end the weekend in first position.

"We recovered a point at a difficult venue. The match was difficult because we conceded inside three minutes and struggled to play the ball in the first half due to a lack of space," Berizzo told reporters.

"Eibar are a very strong and organised team. They hurt us from set-pieces, but we expected a game like that. In the second half, we wore them down with our movement of the ball, played in their half of the pitch and didn't let them counter us.

"We could've won, but we played at a tough venue and appreciate the draw, given that we started a goal down and left with the feeling of almost winning."

Celta have already beaten both Sevilla and Barcelona in the league this season.
