Celta Vigo striker Charles has said that his team are in "really good physical shape" ahead of the start of the La Liga season this weekend.
Celta, who finished ninth last term, open their campaign with a clash against Getafe on Sunday.
"Pre-season has gone well. With just a week to go the team is doing well, with clear ideas and in really good physical shape. We've won our recent friendly games and that's very important, ahead of starting competitively," he told El Faro de Vigo.
Celta are under new management this season, with Eduardo Berizzo replacing Luis Enrique, who has returned to former club Barcelona.
