Team News: Key trio prove fitness to start for Celtic

Celtic are boosted by a number of key players proving their fitness in time to make the team to face Shakhter Karagandy in the Champions League.

Kris Commons and Georgios Samaras have both recovered from knocks to be named in Celtic's starting lineup for their Champions League qualifying tie clash with Shakhter Karagandy.

The Scottish champions have also been boosted by the news that James Forrest is fit enough to start, while Anthony Stokes also comes into the team as Neil Lennon's side look to overturn a 2-0 first leg deficit.

Karagandy have named Andrei Finonchenko and Sergei Khizhnichenko in their starting lineup after both players scored in last week's shock victory.

Celtic: Forster, Matthews, Ambrose, Lustig, Mulgrew, Forrest, Brown, Ledley, Commons, Samaras, Stokes

Shakhter Karagandy: Mokin, Vasiljevic, Poryvaev, Maily, Dzidic, Vicius, Simcevic, Ghazaryan, Canas, Finonchenlo, Khizneihchenko
