Scottish Premiership roundup: Celtic stretch lead, Hearts go second

Sports Mole rounds up all of Saturday's action in the Scottish Premiership as Celtic defeat Aberdeen to stretch their lead.

Celtic have stretched their lead at the top of the Scottish Premiership to seven points.

Leigh Griffiths netted twice before James Forrest added a third at Celtic Park.

Adam Rooney grabbed a consolation for Aberdeen in the 89th minute as the Bhoys ran out 3-1 winners.

Hearts have moved up to second after two goals each from Juanma and Osman Sow gave the Edinburgh club a 4-0 win at Partick Thistle.

Dundee missed the chance to move into the top six after a 1-1 draw against ten-man Inverness Caledonian Thistle. Rory Loy gave the Dee the lead but Greg Tansey scored from the spot to rescue a point for Caley.

A brace from Graham Cummins led St Johnstone to a 4-2 victory against Hamilton Academical.

Elsewhere, Dundee United defeated Ross County 1-0 and Louis Moult scored late as Motherwell defeated Kilmarnock 1-0.
