SPL roundup: Celtic increase lead to 18 points

Celtic go 18 points clear at the top of the SPL thanks to a 3-1 win over second-placed Inverness Caledonian Thistle.

Celtic moved 18 points clear at the top of the Scottish Premier League after they beat nearest rivals Inverness Caledonian Thistle 3-1.

Kris Commons, Rami Gershon and Miku all scored for the Hoops as they underlined their superiority in this division.

Former Manchester City player Willo Flood grabbed a goal in Dundee United's 3-1 win over 10-man Hearts.

Fraser Kerr and Keith Lashley also saw red in the final five minutes for Motherwell as Kilmarnock beat the third-placed side 2-0.

In the other fixture, Aberdeen and St. Mirren played out a goalless draw at Pittodrie.
