Half-Time Report: Charlton Athletic 0-0 Crystal Palace

Charlton Athletic and Crystal Palace are goalless at half-time in tonight's Championship encounter at The Valley.

Charlton Athletic and Crystal Palace are goalless at half-time in tonight's South London derby at The Valley.

Wilfried Zaha caused plenty of problems for Charlton throughout the opening half and nearly created a goal after 12 minutes. However, Owen Garvan's effort from the winger's cross was cleared off the line.

Palace continued to dominate but Bradley Wright-Phillips thought that he had given the hosts the lead on 32 minutes when he headed in, only for the goal to be harshly ruled out for offside.

Yannick Bolasie then went up the other end for the visitors, but his shot was saved by Ben Hamer.

As the half drew to a close, there was an opportunity for Dale Stephens who saw his powerful drive tipped over by Julian Speroni.
