Glenn Murray strikes after 30 seconds for Crystal Palace as they lead Sheffield Wednesday by a goal at the break.

A goal after 30 seconds separates Crystal Palace and Sheffield Wednesday at Selhurst Park this afternoon.

The hosts had the lead inside the opening minute when Yannick Bolasie beat his man on the wing and crossed for Glenn Murray to prod home.

Wednesday, who are one of only three sides in the Championship to have had an unbeaten start to the season, almost hit back instantly when Michail Antonio latched onto debutant Damien Delaney's misplaced pass before being denied by Julian Speroni in the Palace goal.

On-loan Barcelona forward Rodri went close for the visitors as they searched for an equaliser.

Wednesday continued to turn up the pressure and almost drew level when Rodri brought down a high ball but fired high from a narrow angle.
