Preview: Nottingham Forest vs. Charlton Athletic

Sports Mole previews the Championship match between Charlton Athletic and Nottingham Forest at the City Ground.

Nottingham Forest will be keen to avoid back-to-back defeats in the Championship when they host Charlton Athletic this weekend.

Stuart Pearce's side suffered a 2-1 defeat to Birmingham City last time out, leaving them ninth in the table.

The hosts will be without top scorer Britt Assombalonga after he received a red card at St Andrew's last Saturday, leaving him suspended for this match.

On-loan Thomas Ince could take the striker's place, having started the last two matches on the bench.

Meanwhile, Charlton will also be looking to bounce back after suffering their first home defeat of the season last weekend.

Noel Hunt's late winner left the Addicks with a 1-0 defeat to Ipswich Town last Saturday, which dropped them to 10th in the table.

Manager Bob Peeters has revealed that Yoni Buyens will need a late fitness test to determine whether he can play on Saturday, having strained his hamstring two weeks ago.

Nick Pope will continue in goal as regular first-choice keeper Stephen Henderson is still recovering from a shoulder problem, while Rhoys Wiggins remains sidelined with a broken foot.

The injury-hit visitors will also be missing Franck Moussa, who has been struggling with a knee injury.

Charlton came away with a win at the City Ground last season, and shared a 1-1 draw with Forest at home.
