The Football Association have rejected reports that England and Chelsea defender Ashley Cole is struggling with a stomach bug.
The 31-year-old was the only notable absentee from the Three Lions' squad mayoral reception in Krakow yesterday.
Rumours circulated suggesting that the Champions League winner could miss England's Euro 2012 opening group clash against France on Monday due to illness.
Despite these claims, the English governing body have revealed that Cole's absence was due to the full-back's need to rest as opposed to illness.
The Blues defender is likely to feature in Roy Hodgson's side against France after appearing in training this morning.
