Team News: John Terry returns to captain Chelsea side in Europe

John Terry returns to Chelsea's starting lineup to captain the side against Steaua Bucuresti, while Fernando Torres gets the nod up front.

Chelsea defender John Terry has returned to the starting XI to captain the West London outfit in their Europa League encounter with Steaua Bucuresti in Romania.

Blues interim manager Rafael Benitez has rung the changes with one eye on this weekend's FA Cup quarter-final tie against Manchester United as Yossi Benayoun slots into the side along with John Obi Mikel.

Ryan Bertrand steps in at full-back in place of Ashley Cole, while Fernando Torres will lead the line due to Demba Ba's ineligibility to play in the competition.

Juan Mata gets a spot on the bench, while Frank Lampard, who is rumoured to be closing in on a new deal at Stamford Bridge, keeps his place in midfield.

Steaua starting XI: Tatarusanu; Szukala, Mihai Pintilii, Latovlevici, Rapa; Chiriches, Popa, Alexsandru Chipciu, Tanase; Bourceanu, Rusescu
Subs: Stanca, Gardos, Filip, Prepelita, Iancu, Leandro, Filho

Chelsea starting XI: Cech; Ivanovic, Luiz, Terry, Bertrand; Mikel, Lampard; Benayoun, Oscar, Hazard; Torres
Subs: Turnbull, Cole, Ferreira, Cahill, Azpilicueta, Marin, Mata
